南澳大利亞大學團隊通過類比臨床相關腸道微生物環境，研究了布洛芬、對乙醯氨基酚等九種常見藥物與抗生素環丙沙星的相互作用。 實驗發現，當大腸桿菌（E. coli）暴露於這些藥物組合時，基因突變頻率激增12倍，導致其對抗生素的耐受性顯著增強。 值得注意的是，這種耐藥性不僅針對環丙沙星，還蔓延至其他多種抗生素。
