引言
除增加2型糖尿病風險外¹²，糖尿病前期還與心血管疾病風險升高³以及全因和特定病因死亡率增加相關⁴⁵。 然而，糖尿病前期與死亡率的關聯機制複雜，需考慮人口統計學特徵、生活方式及合併症等因素的調節作用。 本研究通過分析美國成年人群體數據，評估三級調節因素（僅人口統計學特徵、加入生活方式因素、再加入合併症因素）對關聯性的影響。

結果
38,093名受訪者中，9,971人（26.2%）患有糖尿病前期（代表5,100萬美國成年人）。 多數為20-54歲女性。 未經調整模型顯示糖尿病前期與死亡率顯著相關（風險比
1.58;95%CI 1.43-1.74），但經完全調整后該關聯消失（HR 1.04;95%CI 0.92-1.18）。 年齡組與糖尿病前期存在顯著交互作用：在20-54歲人群中，糖尿病前期仍顯著增加死亡風險（HR 1.64;95%CI 1.24-2.17），但其他年齡組無顯著關聯。 種族/民族組間未發現顯著差異。
