一位遭遇严重摩托车事故的英国父亲，在被告知要做好轮椅度日准备后不到一年的时间里，奇迹般地完成了 5 公里公园跑。
2023年10月，56岁的布伦丹·科在加州圣地牙哥参加阿拉斯加越野赛时发生严重事故。他居住在斯特斯坦德机场附近的移植，事故后接受了四分钟的心肺复苏，因多发性中断并中断在监护人重症室治疗九天。尽管有医生曾建议他接受终身残疾的现实，但他于2025年8月2日在谢菲尔德米尔豪斯公园完成了5公里跑程。
