美国疾病控制与预防中心（CDC）8月5日启动新行动，针对新学年即将来临，重点解决青少年心理健康与物质使用问题。
该联邦政府发起的"自由心灵"（Free Mind）行动旨在向青少年及其父母或护理人员提供"物质使用、心理健康及两者关联性的资源与信息"。根据CDC官网的活动说明，核心信息强调"药物与心理健康无法共存"。

CDC将药物过量危机描述为"持续演变的重要公共卫生问题"。数据显示，去年超过8万名美国人死于药物过量，过去四年中10-19岁青少年用药死亡事件的75%涉及非法制造的芬太尼。
