卡迪娜·考克斯（Kadeena Cox）是一位英國運動員、真人秀明星和電視主持人，她在23歲時被診斷出患有"隱形"殘疾。
這位曾在2016年夏季殘奧會上參加田徑和自行車比賽的殘奧會運動員，在參加完拉夫堡國際賽兩天后突然被緊急送往醫院，當時她正準備爭取加入英國雪車國家隊的資格。

的朋友們告訴她，她所經歷的情況"並不正常"。
最終，癥狀惡化，導致她的雙腿無法活動。
"她基本上是從頸部以下都失去了功能，然後我無法行走，說話也變得困難，發生了太多事情，"她在BBC晨間直播（BBC Morning Live）的一期節目中說道。
"我真的是從一個健全的運動員變成了一個中風患者。"
中風四個月後，考克斯被診斷出患有多發性硬化症（Multiple Sclerosis， MS），這是一種影響大腦和脊髓的慢性疾病。
梅奧診所（Mayo Clinic）將MS描述為一種以炎症、脫髓鞘和膠質增生為特徵的自身免疫性疾病。
該疾病可能表現為多種神經癥狀，如視力障礙、麻木和刺痛、局部無力、膀胱和腸道功能障礙以及認知障礙。
現年35歲的考克斯表示，她現在認識到12年前經歷的"刺痛感"是MS發作的早期癥狀。
她還將自己度過診斷過程中最困難時期歸功於她的運動背景。

2016年，這位前《我是名人... 放我出去！ 》(I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!)參賽者在2016年夏季殘奧會上為英國隊贏得了100米T38短跑銅牌。
隨後，她又贏得了兩枚金牌，第一枚來自C4-5級別計時賽自行車專案，第二枚來自400米T38短跑。
考克斯這一令人印象深刻的成就使她載入史冊，成為自1984年夏季殘奧會的伊莎貝爾·巴爾（Isabel Barr）以來，首位在同一屆奧運會上在多個專案中贏得金牌的英國殘奧運動員。
"正是所有這些小目標最終説明我登上了領獎台，"她說道。
